Nuclear power: a solution to our energy needs?
Mon, 06/12/2006 - 21:51 — bdiddyHere is a paper I wrote. Hopefully it will interest somebody. I am too lazy to fix all the layout issues, add images, and fix the footnotes so the ODF & PDF original is included as an attachment. Special thanks to arbscht for proofreading!
Abstract
This paper is a broad discussion of nuclear power and the risks associated with it. Discussions will focus on sustainability, reliability, environmental accountability, and public safety. A slight emphasis will also be placed on Canada and its role in the nuclear energy industry.

Photography
Fri, 02/10/2006 - 23:58 — bdiddySo recently I bought a new camera (a Konica Minolta Z5, see a review here) and I've been trying to learn a bit about photography. For the camera and a 1GB SD card it came to about $800 CAD.
